DO YOU HAVE TO SPIT OUT THE FLEM WHEN YOU’RE SICK?
I’m getting a little better now except i still have the coughing sensation & a lot of congestion in my lungs.. however, everytime i cough out flem i swallow it.. i know it’s really disgusting, but i’ve never been one to spit them out.. i was wondering if im suppose to spit it out? does it make a difference? like will i get better sooner if i spit them out? does my stomach acid burn them up or do they end up back in my lungs? please answer.. i have a week old baby & really wanna get better!

No, it’s fine. You are constantly swallowing mucus anyway. It just goes to you stomach and gets broken apart by the acids there
