how to get rid of mucus in the throat of a toddler?
He’s 18 months old, he had a cold a few weeks ago. Most of the other symptoms are gone, but he has
mucus in his throat. It would make him have coughing fits till he vomits, he vomited 1-3 times a day for the past week. His diet is mostly milk and some table food. Is there anything that i can do about it?

Since he is only 18 months, I would call your doctor and ask. There are warnings on the sides of Cough Medicines for children that small, but apparently you need some medicine to help break up that mucus so he can get it out easier.

Milk makes more mucus in throat. It could be that he has allergies and one of them could be MILK.
And he could have ASTHMA.Please get him in ASAP.He might not have even had a cold ,it could of been a severe Asthma or Allergie Reaction.TAKE HIM TO AN ALLERGIE DOCTOR THEY WILL RUN TESTS.GOOD LUCK,TAKE CARE,BEST WISHES
